The scope of this project includes grand over-sized glass entrance doors. Verre églomisé is
applied using hand cut strips of genuine silver leaf, laid by hand using a traditional technique
called water gilding to create areas of mirror. The mirror strips are then chemically patinated to
create colour variations and organic texture. The interplay between silver and bronze tones of
reflective mirror produces harmonious balance. The finished work is laminated between glass to
forge a secure, weatherproof unit.
